Cristiano Ronaldo, who joined the squad from Manchester United in 2009, was assigned the No. 7 jersey after Raul left in 2010. He went on to become a Real Madrid icon after donning the shirt.

The Portuguese, who have scored 450 goals in 438 games, are Los Blancos’ all-time top scorer. Among other things, he was crucial to the four UEFA Champions League trophies won by the Spanish powerhouses.

Football players such as Vinicius have taken inspiration from the five-time Ballon d’Or winner over the years. Recently, it was noted that the Brazilian winger had a large silver pendant shaped like a “7.” There were numerous tiny engravings of Cristiano Ronaldo’s famous “SIUUU” celebration on the back of the pendant.
