Lionel Messi and his beautiful wife Antonela Roccuzzo celebrate Inter Miami’s Leagues Cup victory with David and Victoria Beckham at another expensive Japanese steakhouse

Lionel Messi and David Beckham headed out to party in Miami on Friday night to celebrate a 4-0 victory over Charlotte FC in the Leagues Cup.

Their wives, Antonela Roccuzzo and Victoria Beckham, joined in with the celebrations along with Miami’s two other soccer superstars in Sergio Busquets and Jordi Alba.

Busquets’ wife, Elena, was also there and posed for a picture with Victoria and Antonela after another great night on the soccer field for Inter Miami.

Messi scored his eighth Miami goal in just his fifth appearance for his new team as they advanced into the last four of the Leagues Cup and now have a realistic shot at winning a trophy next weekend.

And to mark the occasion Messi, Miami co-owner Beckham and the rest of the group were hosted by David Grutman at Gekko Miami – a sushi and steakhouse restaurant.

Victoria posted some pictures from the night on Instagram and wrote: ‘I LOVE MIAMI!!! So much fun last night!!! Kisses @DavidBeckham @AntonelaRoccuzzo @Leo Messi xxxx’.

Grutman, meanwhile, shared pictures of himself with the new stars of US soccer, captioning the images ‘casual Friday’.

Grutman is friends with the Beckham family and has been seen at several Miami games at the DRV PNK Stadium since Messi arrived to play for the team last month.

He has had a front row seat to what has been a meteoric impact by Messi on the Miami team, which plays Philadelphia Union on Tuesday night for a place in the final.

It was Messi’s teammate that gave Miami the lead over Charlotte on Friday night, scoring a penalty in the 12th minute.

Robert Taylor doubled the lead 20 minutes later with his third goal for the team since Messi has joined the squad.

It got to 3-0 in the 78th minute with an own goal from Adilson Malanda put the game out of reach for Charlotte – he was stretching to intercept a pass across the goal and inadvertently stuck it past his own goalkeeper.

And it was Messi who rounded out the scoring with a goal of his, converting from close range with a thunderous left-footed strike and the ball had been cut back into the area.

Busquets, who was pictured posing for selfie with Grutman at the restaurant on Friday night, said after the that it is ‘beautiful’ to play with Messi again.

Miami coach Tata Martino meanwhile insisted that it isn’t solely down to Messi that the team has started to improve its form. Friday’s win over Charlotte was Miami biggest in 2023.

‘It’s not just Leo – we have found different ways of being able to score,’ Martino said.

Messi and Miami will be back in action on Tuesday night against Philadelphia Union

But Charlotte coach Christian Lattanzio could not help but focus on the Messi impact after the game.

‘When you have Messi, you know he just needs a chance. He just needs one second,’ he said.

‘You have to be very sharp to stop him from producing the magic he’s been producing since he went to Barcelona when he was 16.’

Messi, Busquets and Alba return to Miami action on Tuesday night against Philadelphia Union, bidding for a place in next weekend’s Leagues Cup final.

The Union are at home for that game, hosting Miami at Union Park.
